Stila Creme Bouquet - Is It Discontinued or Not??

I can't get a straight answer from these folks and I am so frustrated! I LOVE this scent and judging by the hits to my blog, I am not the only one.

Here's an email I sent to them and the response I received from Stila this morning:

Hmm.....I've been looking and looking and Stila Creme Bouquet is still not available. Believe it or not, I blogged about it and most of the hits to my blog are from others doing a Google search about Stila Creme Bouquet being discontinued.

I've waited long enough and will be searching for my new "favorite" perfume. What a shame.

Angela

Angela,
Unfortunately we do not have stock at this time, we are expecting a shipment in sometime next month. They have not given us a specific date on when it will become available. Please check back with us in a few weeks.
Thank you,
Stila Customer Care

Am I alone in my thinking that "unavailability" is some sort of marketing ploy and when it finally comes back into stock, we will see a substantial price increase?

Are there any of you out there who have found a suitable replacement? And if so, can you let me know? Gwen Stefani's "Harajuku Baby" scent smells pretty good but is a little too young for my tastes.

Thanks and have a great day!

I am desperate to get Creme Bouquet back! I've been saving my last few drops for my wedding in May. Let us know what you find out!

The perfume has not been available for over 4 months on Stila.com and I believe has been discontinued by Sephora, the only other retail outlet that I know about.
It would be nice if someone at Stila would have the courtesy to give a proper update, instead of leaving customers hanging.
What else can we do other than contact them and let them know the frustration...

According some beauty blogs, Stila is under bankruptcy reorganization. If they actually emerge from this mess, I'd be quite surprised. I was able to purchase three rolls on March 22nd right when they brought it back for about 10 minutes. Try the L by Lolita Lempicka. It's no the same but it smells pretty darn good!

I am also very irritated at the lack of info from Stila about this fragrance. I wore it for my wedding on new years eve 2006. Why has their website been down for so long ? They had a few tiny role on sticks for sale and I had them in my cart the day the website went down. What the heck!

Hi,

I too have been looking for Creme bouquet and found a replacement for its unique scent. Sula: Vanilla Blossom. Sold at ULTA. Not quite Stila in scent smoothness and creaminess, but it has the vanilla I like and a descent price of about $29 a bottle and they also sell the roll-ons for $18. I like this scent a lot, but miss the Stila scent. I hope they make it available again soon!

Good luck!

I also love Stila Creme Bouquet, can't stand most perfumes. I was able to snatch up a roll on tube for my wedding. I just found a similiar scent that will quench my thirst until Creme Bouquet returns, it's Viktor & Rolf Floer Bomb. Have gotten just as many compliments as I did before with Creme.

There is NO replacement for the Creme Bouquet. I too sent Stila an email but got a different response from everyone else. The reason they said Creme Bouquet has been out of circulation for so long was because of a missing ingredient, which they're working on putting into the formula. I was told the new shipment would be available in January. So I did some investigating of my own just to see what ingredients were actually in the Creme Bouquet. PARABENS! Unless they take that out I definitely wont bother buying it again.

lush developed a fragrance called 'vanillary' and it smells exactly the same! it is vanilla, jasmine and tonka. i love it. also: it is the only perfume i have tried that does not give my throat a weird scritch-scratchy feeling that precludes me 98% of the time from wearing perfume, anyway. it is a good scent.
